corrigenda & addenda

By writing "in the legendary vein of the 1350's Catholic Black Metal tradition" in the previous post we were obviously not that serious.

Black metal is around 20 years old max., is not really bound by much of a tradition and since we are christians, our music neither can be that very "black". However, all sung parts on URKAOS are writings and excerpts found within the legendary 1350's Catholic tradition. I.e. e.g. Vulgata, Confessiones, Officium Parvum Beate Marie Virginis, Nichodemi Ewangelium.

Malacht is - ergo - not about Orthodox Black Metal or something similar. In fact, we do now take a great stance from whence we came and pray for others to do the same. Faith remains a bestowal, and whosoever dare to knock shall be opened for. Open eyes will be led to what beauty they see and not see. There is but one God in trinity and none can propose us with a coherent theology containing one God as being evil and unjust. Such a theology simply does not exist.

We have now recorded music for the D-side of URKAOS. All this new material is acoustic and is an indication as to were the music of Malacht currently is heading. A full length in that very same vein will probably follow later.
